Based in NYC, Leslie Frost holds both a Masters degree in Piano Performance from the University of Arizona, and a Master of Fine Arts in Music Composition from Vermont College of Fine Arts. She has experience in collaborative piano, vocal performance and coaching, and choral music. Leslie is also an avid music educator - enjoying private and group teaching of musicianship, piano and composition. Leslie has trained in Music Theory, Ear Training, and Improvisation as taught through Dalcroze Eurythmics at the Kaufman Center, NYC and the Longy School of Music in Boston. The practice of Dalcroze is central to her work as a composer - from melodic and rhythmic gesture to the interplay of musical elements within music. Leslie enjoys developing a collaborative and creative approach to music learning.
